I want to add a Constant Contact email sign up pop up to my page and when I try to add it to the footer on the homepage and save I get an error. I’ve seen many people have been having a similar issue. Is it not possible to add custom HTML?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi @humspark

Can you provide an example of custom HTML?

    Hi,

Below is the code I’ve been trying to add:

<!– Begin Constant Contact Active Forms –>

    <script> var _ctct_m = “f701b866e4cd610b146c58f65caed0da”; </script>

    <script id=”signupScript” src=”//static.ctctcdn.com/js/signup-form-widget/current/signup-form-widget.min.js” async defer></script>

<!– End Constant Contact Active Forms –>

Scripts should be included in the HTML footer before the closing body tag, not the homepage footer. In this case, you’ll need assistance from snippet plugins. You can find one here: https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/search/code+snippet/

Thank you. Where would I locate the closing body tag?

It depends on the plugin you are using. Usually, when adding the snippet, it can be put on the header/footer by choosing an option. If there is, choose the footer.

Please ask for help from the plugin author if you are still confused about adding it because it is already beyond our scope.
