Unable to Save/Publish new posts

    Our blog can be found at https://www.cordiallee.com/blog

    The blog is fairly new and we’ve never had any trouble posting, editing, etc. However, all of a sudden, we are unable to add new posts, save drafts, etc.

    Please advise. Thank you!

    did you change anything when this happened (add plugins, new featured, etc)

    what happens? does it just not save? errore? blank page?

    When I try to save, I get this error:

    Internal Server Error
    The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.

    Please contact the server administrator, [email protected] and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused the error.

    More information about this error may be available in the server error log.

    Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

    Odd thing is… if I put the word “test” as my title and as my post, it will save. I’m just not sure why it won’t save a full lenth post?

    You follow the instructions on the error and go to your server error logs and see what the error actually is

    The error log states:

    [Tue Mar 09 21:30:10 2010] [error] [client 74.129.147.193] File does not exist: /home/cordiall/public_html/500.shtml, referer: https://cordiallee.com/blog/wp-admin/post-new.php

    How do I replace the missing file?

    Hi Cordiallee,

    I am also facing the same problem and it is really frustrating to get that error suddenly since it was working fine before.
    Still waiting for a solution to it.

    Any help on this ??

    Unfortunately, I am really struggling with this issue and getting little help. I’ll continue looking and repost if I find any solutions.

    no reply on this.. meaning only one option left to reinstall WP. So sad man that such a vastly used software is out of solution on this matter.

    What happens if you reinstall? Will you lose your entire blog to date?

    Hi,

    I am having the exact same problem for three days and no-one seems to want to help or have answers. Dont reinstall wordpress without saving all your files or you lose everything.

    My blog was working fine, no problems and in the middle of writing a new post it wouldn’t save. I get the same error message.
