• We’re noticing a consistent bug where posts with posts in one of our custom statuses not being able to be scheduled in advance… after setting the date in the future, and saving, you’re only shown the publish button (NOT the schedule button).

The issue is definitely something with the custom status. If we switch the post to Draft status (the WP default status), and then save, and then try to schedule for the future, it works fine.

I’m also noticing that EditFlow hasn’t updated in a year. Is the project still actively being developed?

    Hi there:

We’re noticing a consistent bug where posts with posts in one of our custom statuses not being able to be scheduled in advance… after setting the date in the future, and saving, you’re only shown the publish button (NOT the schedule button).

Is it just one status, or all of your custom statuses that exhibit this behavior? Could you share a screencast of this in action? I tried reproducing according to the steps you identified and got the expected behavior:

We took a bit of a break, but we’re back at it now!

It’s one particular status: the one we used for our sponsored posts the status is called (“Sponsored”)

Here’s a screencast of me trying to reproduce the bug: https://quick.as/4v3IAxR

Can you use a service like QuickCast to make a screencast so I have a more details on the reproduction flow?

Do you have any tags or categories named “Sponsored”? I wonder if this could be a term conflict. JavaScript error of sorts is the other guess I have.

Ooh, we DO have a category called Sponsored. I’ll try changing the status to “SponsorDrafts” and see if that solves the problem.
