Unable to search when dropdowns are selected

Hi, we are having an issue when using the drop-down in conjunction with the search field. They both work and return the correct results independently but when we try to use them together it fails to return the combined result.

Search example ? – https://peer.acelero.com/peercards/?srch=Shape+Hunt

Dropdown Example ? – https://peer.acelero.com/peercards/?domain=math;science

Search + Dropdown ? – https://peer.acelero.com/peercards/?domain=math;science&srch=Shape%20Hunt

Did we implement something incorrectly? Is this the desired behavior?
