I exported my blog from my wordpress.com account to a self hosted wordpress account today. I see all my images in the media library and when I see them when I click on individual posts but am unable to see the images on my home page. The theme I downlaoded Activello, shows images on the home page. Images show up when I create a new post, I created and then deleted a test post to see if that would be true. My link is https://www.mashedmush.com

Are you running any plugins that may cause interference?

Also is this a new problem or something that has been happening since you exported your blog?

I only installed jetpack. Everything else is default wordpress plug ins. I’m not sure. I didn’t mess around with the site, I immediately did the export once I installed wordpress.

Also I noticed this was the issue I was having on my home page with several themes that I installed. So I’m assuming this happened after the export.

It might be a permissions issue. Your account configuration is blocking access to images in wp-content/uploads. Check that anti-hotlinking isn’t enabled on your hosting account. If it is, try disabling it.

    OR

Try to reset the plugins folder in case any has not been fully deactivated

    Hi,

It is already disabled. And I reset my plugins through File Manager. Neither worked.

Make sure each post has a Featured Image set like in their demo video:

You might also want to ask in the Activello support forum here:

Thanks Dan, that was the issue!

Glad you got this fixed, good advice Dan!

I’d recommend marking the thread as resolved if no further issues persist.
