hi, my website is not sending invoice/order confirmation emails to customer after order placed. when i tried testing mode last week, confirmation emails were successfully sent and delivered. but i dont know what happened, when i check again today, in woocommerce-settings-email, the invoice is only enabled for Manually sent. i did a lot of research and made sure all settings are correct, and followed steps to woocommerce-orders and manually selected Email Invoice under Order Actions. under order notes, it shows the email was sent, but the email was never delivered. please help.

  • Does your hoster and/or site have a general email deliverability issue? Or is it only for Invoices?

hi, i dont think the site has email deliverability issue, also i reset some setting and invoice is able to be sent automatically after purchase now, but its not sending the template i updated from woocomerce-setting-email-edit button. also i created a pop-up with mail chimp, but the pop-up only works on computers or tablets, it does not display full content on mobile, only show small words on top of the phone. im very new to this and some areas are complicated to me, thank you for your response and patience with me.

    Hi?@lmjpet!

This kind of problem may be caused by a conflict with your theme or with another plugin.

The best way to determine this is to:

    • Temporarily switch your theme to?Storefront
    • Disable all plugins except for WooCommerce
    • Repeat the action that is causing the problem
    • If you’re not seeing the same problem after completing the conflict test, then you know the problem was with the plugins and/or theme you deactivated. To figure out which plugin is causing the problem, reactivate your other plugins one by one, testing after each until you find the one causing conflict.

You can find a more detailed explanation on how to do a conflict test here.

      I hope this helps.

    Hello @csnlima
Thank you for your reply, if i deactivate my current theme and switch to wp, will all my pages or contents reset? will i have to redo my website and pages and products?
    thank you.

    Hi @lmjpet!

It is not usual that you lose information or settings when activating/deactivating your theme and plugins; however, we recommend you make sure you have a backup in place of your site and database before making any changes.

Another thing you can try is to clone your site to a staging environment, and monitor/perform tests without modifying your live site or impacting customers. Many hosts provide staging facilities; it’s worth checking in with them. It’s also possible to do it using the free WP Staging plugin. Link: https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/wp-staging/.

You can find more information here: https://woocommerce.com/document/how-to-test-for-conflicts/#section-2.

    I hope this helps!

    Hi there,

We haven’t heard back from you in a while, so I’m going to mark this as resolved – we’ll be here if and/or when you are ready to continue.
