I’m having a problem that Contact Form 7 will only send the form if I am logged in. (My website does not have user registration, so I am the only user able to log in.) If I’m logged in, it will send normally. If I’m not, I get a spinning arrow icon, but the form does not send, nor does it return an error message.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

What other plugins and theme do you use on the site?

I use Frontier. I have quite a few plugins right now — which ones I’ll still have next week is currently up in the air, as I’m trying out different ones — but the one on the list that might be suspect is one that disables the Rest API for anonymous users. There’s also HTTP headers, Disable XML-RPC, iThemes Security, and WP Super Cache, which I could see causing issues.

Ah ha, after some experimentation, it’s the Disable Rest API that was doing it. Allowing Contact Form 7 to access the endpoints for anonymous users (from the settings) or deactivating the plugin resolved the issue.
