unable to set individual event

  • i’m trying to create a individual event, but unsuccessful so far. my requirement is I want to create a swimming event where 10 members compete with each other. the results is top 3 places win and rest loses. i can set who won 1st place,2nd place, and 3rd place manually and all other automatically should show only “paticipated”
    no league , no team.
    kindly guide me

    My name is Roch, and I’ll try my best to guide you through the wild journey that is setting up a new site ??

    So, in your case there are a few key steps:
    1) Set your sport as player vs player. This can be changed in the future or for a single event, but since this is your default setup there’s no reason to leave the teams there. This is done under SportsPress > Settings > Rounds > Default mode:

    While you are at it you can remove the limit so you’ll be able to add as many players as you want (this also can be changed by each event individually)

    2) Now let’s create your event outcomes. Since you need 1st, 2nd, 3rd and participated we’ll include these under SportsPress > Configure > Event outcomes:

    Also, under the configure setting you can add other aspects of your sport such as metrics, states, league table columns and so on.

    But this should be enough to at least create your events.
