• Hi,
I am currently encountering an issue with setting opacity for a group in the Twenty Twenty-Three WordPress theme, and I would greatly appreciate your assistance in resolving it.

I am trying to adjust the opacity of a group, but I am unable to find an option or setting to achieve this. While I can set the background color for the group successfully, I cannot find a way to make it less opaque.

I want to be able to see some of the background image picking through the white background of the group that contains the logo and the text.

    Any I deas?
    Thanks!
    Ram

Hi @ramf – just to clarify what you’re hoping to do – is your desire to have just the background of the group block have a level or transparency?

If that’s the case – great news! When you’re selecting the background color (as you show in your screenshot) you can click on the top selection (where it says ‘base’) and it will let you customize the color – including adjusting the opacity.

I’ve made a quick video – showing how that can be done. I’ve used some garish bright colors to prove it works ??

Could you please try that out and see if it has the effect you’re wanting?
