Unable to set shop as home page

    The Settings > Reading options are not how you are thinking they are.
    It sounds like you want to designate a URL as home, but the settings want you to choose a URL to give up to become the home URL.
    Whatever you choose for Home Page will get the URL that is set in the Settings > General for Site Address, which is the root URL for the site.

    @joyously I have selected Shop under Settings, General, but the Shop is not displaying any product on the home page. However, https://woosplendid.com/shop/ showing products as desired. So, how do I ensure that https://woosplendid.com/shop/ becomes the home page?

    Make sure you have set Homepage like this

    Also, Shop page

    Check your homepage that you didn’t set anyhow the shoppage shortcode.
