Unable to setup plugin settings

    Same here, using most recent wordpress and tried in several browsers > input boxes stay empty.

    I noticed several topics about this issue but without answers/solutions… :-(.

    Anyone?

    I’m having the same problem. I’m running WP in Windows Server 2008r2 and MS SQL Server 2005.

    I cracked it for myself.. I first installed an older version (1.3.1), then entered and saved the information, and after that updated to the newer version. Worked for me..

    ..BUT I now do have problems with the next steps on publishing posts to FB timeline (no button to link profile to FB appears in profile page). So perhaps the method I used isn’t our solution and the data isn’t stored correctly after all..

    Jonny I did the samething and I can’t setup the Social Publisher neither. I’m still trying to figure out how to connect it!

    Have someone tested the latest version (1.5.2 on 2013-8-20) about the issue?

    Plugin version 1.5.1 added settings error messages for additional types of failures when verifying the app id and secret with Facebook’s servers in exchange for an app access token.

    The most common reported reason for a failure to save application credentials is server compatibility with HTTPS URLs.
