    Hi @johnhedouglas

How many roles are assigned to that account? If there’s more than 1 role, you need to set the Role Priority number in the UM Role settings > Contributor.

Hi Champ, Thank you for your response. I have set him up as a “Contributor” and want to enable him to do everything with “Posts” and everything with “UM User Registrations” He is the office manager. As the screenshot shows in my original query. But when I log in as HIM i don’t see the WP Admin Bar. About a year ago I had a plugin that performed this but now I cannot remember the name of the plugin. I thought it was Ultimate Member unless it’s changed.

    Hi @johnhedouglas

Have you tried unchecking the “Force hiding adminbar in frontend? ” option in WP Admin > Ultimate Member > User Roles > edit the Contributor role > see “Administrative Permissions”.

Yes, I have unchecked the Force hiding admin-bar but it still does not display the WP Toolbar when I log in as HIM.

    Hi,

Can you do a conflict test and see if the issue goes away? This doc explains how to do a conflict test if you are not sure: How to do a plugin/theme conflict test?

Hi Champ, this a quite a process and its a busy website. would it be better if i gave you admin access in order for you to see if i have missed some setting? You could load your self as an Editor and see if you able to see the WP Tool Bar? It’s not a sensitive website its merely to gain users.
