Unable to sign in as a user

  • When I installed the plugin I am unable to signin as a user like subscriber or contributor to login to my account. It keeps taking me to signin home page and then when i fill my details, the website page reloads and I am still unable to sign in. But when I go to wordpress admin login link like /wp-admin then I can login as a admin. Can you help me with this. If I uninstall it then user signin is no problem. I have deactivated the plugin for the moment

    Hi @chihi108, glad you reached out!

    The issue you’ve described looks to be due to another plugin that’s conflicting with how Solid Security normally works with the default WP login pages.

    Are you using another plugin along with WooCommerce on your user registration? Do you know if the user login process works without issues when only Solid Security & WooCommerce are activated on the site? Please use a default WP theme when checking to also check for the possibility of theme conflict.

    If the issue persists with only the two plugins active on the site, can you please share your Site Health Info here, as well as steps on how to replicate this on our end?

    the theme I use is listinghive. I have deactivated all the plugins except hivepress plugin to keep the signin link and it is conflict with the security plugin with the theme possibly. I can’t change the theme. Theme is fully compatible with wordfence if used. Another member of hivepress community forum had same issue of signin and I adviced to uninstall solid security and use wordfence and since then haven’t heard so I assume that their problem is resolved. I surely will send you the site health when I am next logged in.
