Hello,

I am using Zotpress version 5.4.2 on WordPress 4.1. I was unable to refresh or modify an existing Zotpress database. I was also unable to reset Zotpress (gear icon kept spinning). So, I disabled and deleted Zotpress, then reinstalled it. I am unable to add an account using my user information (API user ID and private key) or group information (group ID). The gear icon keeps spinning.

I have contacted the server administrator. An http method is installed and isn’t restricted. He doesn’t see the request to access Zotero in the logs either.

Any ideas how to resolve this?

From the system administrator: we can curl the rss feed url from the server with no problem. This is what happens when we try to connect through Zotpress:

The developer and I determined that it was an access issue on the server side (.htaccess).

Hi, I’m having the same problem and I think it might have a similar cause. These are the contents of my .htaccess file:

I think this fix is what worked before:

In your server config file, X-Frame-Options should be set to SAMEORIGIN.
