    @anabellafp

    We have a wiki page on how to do this – and maybe there is another way to do that with the LocoTranslate plugin you’re describing.

    Can you possibly use the logic we’ve described on this page to make that work?

    I tried the above .po method per the wiki, but the file name is called mc-woocommerce.pot not mailchimp-woocommerce.pot. Also it doesn’t contain any line for “subscribe to our newsletter”. I added on in manually but it still doesn’t work. Please advise.

    @7107digital this field specifically is not going to be translated the same way because it’s a dynamic string that can be set in the admin. We might move this setting into a typical language file – but for right now the way to do it is by using WPML following these instructions.

    @ryanhungate Ok, but what if your site is single language and doesn’t have WPML?

    @7107digital gotcha I think I may have misunderstood your question. If you’re not using WPML and it’s a single language, you would literally change that text in the plugin itself. This is a dynamic string that can be adjusted while setting up the plugin.

    The documentation that I sent you also shows you where you would change it – you can search the page for step 3 where it says “Add the text and save it.”. That’s where you would adjust this value.
