Unable to translate the “Select Date Range” label in Datepicker

    No matter how hard I try, I cannot get the “Select Date Range” label in Datepicker translated into Italian, despite the translation being correct in the localization file (checked with Loco Translation).
    The only way I was able to have it translated is by editing the wp-event-manager.php file (line 302) in the root folder of the plugin, but this edit will be wiped away on the next plugin update.
    How should I fix it?
