Unable to update

    I’m running version 3.7 of the File Away plugin and it won’t update to the latest version.

    I get a message saying I have the latest version.

    Refreshing the plugins page shows that the plugin is in need of an update.

    What seems to be the matter.

    If I remove the plugin and reinstall it, how will it affect all the existing uploads?

    I just now updated on one of my sites from 3.7 to 3.8.4 with no problems, so it must be something weird with your own installation. That said, you can uninstall and reinstall the plugin with no problems. Just go to your File Away settings page first, and under the Database tab, make sure that the “On Uninstall” setting is set to “Preserve”. (That is the default setting.) If that is set to Preserve, you can uninstall and reinstall with no loss of data.

    Had to uninstall and reinstall.

    I’m going to check with the webhost to find out if they changed something.
