  • Hi,

I have the same issue. It means that when paying for an event booking on single event page, the dropdown selection of PayPal and Stripe shows blank for Stripe.

    Thanks

    Kevin

Incidentally, if it helps, I have got the following PHP error when I try to submit the settings (and when title doesn’t save).
[19-Jul-2016 12:05:57 UTC] PHP Warning: func_get_arg(): Argument 0 not passed to function in /wp-content/plugins/events-manager-pro/add-ons/gateways/gateway.php on line 129

    @kworrall,

can you please give me more information regarding issue? can you share your site url. and events url so i can see what happen in site with stripe gateway.

Have you test plugin with default wordpress theme?

    Thanks,
    Kirit

Same issue here & problem found, but cannot solve.

The problem is that the plugin does not create a specific field in domain.com/wp-admin/options.php.
    The field needed is em_emp_stripe_option_name.

When displaying the #_BOOKINGFORM EM Pro calls the em_$gateway_option_name to display the name in the dropdown window. This field does not currently exist for this Stripe plugin, hence no name is shown in the booking form.

To reproduce the problem, simply activate a gateway shipped with EM Pro, p.e. “Offline”.

A screenshot of what is currently added to option.php can be viewed here. I’ve enclosed the field that displays my own offline gateway called “Cash”.

Also, it would be better / more consistent to have the developer drop the “emp” completely from its strings, so it is more in line with the other payment gateways used in EM Pro. *just a helpful tip, though ;-)*

Same problem here, the title is simply empty. This issue renders the whole Events Manager Pro + Stripe Gateway unusable. I wouldn’t mind hardcoding it into my site until the next release, but I need instructions on how to do this.

Same issue. “Gateway Title” and “Booking Form Information” are not saved so always blank.

Any news when it will be fixed/updated?

    Regards,
    David

@oliveconcepts Thanks for your reply, sorry for dropping the ball on this before. It still needs resolving.

    – In WordPress. Trying to save the gateway options, the title feed always appears blank after typing and saving a title
    – On the front end. I have a PayPal and Stripe gateway added. When the user needs to book and pay for an event, the booking form appears, with a dropdown for the payment gateway choice (in my case PayPal and Stripe) (see screenshot). When you click on the dropdown – the Stripe option is present and functional but appears as an empty line without a title (because it is trying to show the missing title value from the payment gateway settings). See second screenshot.

    Hope that makes sense!

    Thanks

    Kevin

    Hi Kirit,

I saw there was a new release 1.2.2 and this has not been fixed. Can you please give an ETA as this plugin is unusable in combination with another gateway.

    Thanks,
    Marc

    Hi @arbolife.

Gateway title update fix in new version 1.2.4

    Hi @kirit-dholakiya,

Thank you, this is great progress. Now it works in English, but the name of the payment gateway still doesn’t save the translated version. My default title is “Credit Card” and right below I put the French version “Carte de crédit”, when I save the English gets saved but the French disappears. The French site then also mentions “Credit Card” instead fo “Carte de crédit”.

Would it be possible to fix this as well please ?

    Thank you,
    Marc
