Unable to Update or Publish a Page

  • Hi,

    I just created a new WP site using Optimizer Pro 0.6.1 and WP 5.2.2. I was able to create and publish it, however all of a sudden a day ago, I seem to have lost the ability to update and/or publish a new or existing page.

    When I try to update it says “update failed”, and when I try to edit in customize, it says “An error occurred. Please reload the page and try again”. Reloading page does not solve this problem..tried several times. At this point, I can not even publish a new page, it says “publishing failed”.

    What has just happened? Why am I encountering this problem? Needed to launch this new website today…but this kind of issue has jeopardized all our plans and timeline.

    Need HELP immediately!!!!

  • That theme’s version number kind of worries me so I did a search and the second item in the search results came up with a nulled theme in that version number so, just incase you got a hold of a nulled theme, switch back to a default theme which in your case would probably be Twenty Nineteen.

    Try to publish a post or page now and see what happens.

    If it now works then contact the original theme author for further help…

    Else, install the Health Check plugin and see what it might say. You can also use Health Check to disable and troubleshoot your plugins to see if they are causing this problem.
