I am unable to update a page after a certain number of changes. Once a threshold is reached the error message kicks in. Deleting some content on the page removes the error. I have also followed the steps outlined in these articles – https://docs.elementor.com/article/185-the-update-button-does-not-work
    https://docs.elementor.com/article/132-404-page

The steps in the articles didn’t solve my problem. I increased PHP Memory limit, edited permalinks, checked debug console, etc but the error persists. This issue is actually now affecting a few of my websites. Could it have anything to do with your latest updates? I have used Elementor for several years now without any such issues.
    Please help.

  • You need to mention which “content” did you delete?.. Only then we can pin point the error.

I think that you are using a shortcode for a content related plugin which is now behaving irresponsibly. Are you using any third party Elementor plugin?…if so, then kindly disable and check them.

I’ve had this issue in some of my sites.

Have you installed any plugin lately?

I was getting the 404 error code but the page was updated anyway

I have indeed uninstalled all 3rd party Elementor plugins but the issue persists. I am not using a shortcode. I noticed the issue when trying to insert a section with three icon boxes. The page only accepts the first icon box and its text content. Adding a second icon box or any other kind of content including a text editor triggers the error.

What did you increase the memory limit to?

Please share your System Info here (you can locate this by going to Elementor > System Info), or check it against our System Requirements.

Are you using any kind of security plugin like WordFence? If so, please put it in Learning Mode, then go update. You can take it out of Learning Mode afterwards.

    Hello,
The memory was increased from 256mb to 512mb. I use Wordfence and set it to learning mode but issues still persist. Find below the System Info –
