    Hi there,
i’ve this curious problem. I really can’t update some of my pages.
I’ve deleted some text from the multiple languages versions of a page, in my back end i see them without those text but front end i still see the texts deleted!! I’ve tried to search those texts directly in the DB, but there is no signs on the deleted text.
First thing i’ve done i’ve deleted any kind of cache, but with no results
    Could you please help?

  • Hi,

Do you have Falcon or Basic Cacheing enabled? If so, does disabling them temporarily help? Also, have you checked on multiple browsers or emptied the cache on the browsers you are using to check the site?

    Thanks,

Basic caching. I’ve just tried to disable the cache but with no results. I’ve deleted browsers cache and tried with different ones, but same problem…

Also tried to insert cache exclusion option:

    Cache Exclusions
If the URL contains (without quotes): “/ferienwohnungen-zimmer-und-preise/” then don’t cache it. [remove exclusion]
If the URL contains (without quotes): “/apartamentos-habitaciones-y-tarifas/” then don’t cache it. [remove exclusion]
If the URL contains (without quotes): “/appartements-chambres-et-tarifs/” then don’t cache it. [remove exclusion]
If the URL contains (without quotes): “apartments-rooms-and-prices/” then don’t cache it. [remove exclusion]
    but still no results!!

On the “Performance Setup” page, how many pages does it show if you click the “Get Cache Stats” button?

If it shows more than 0, try clicking the “Clear Cache” button and then “Get Cache Stats” again, to see if it changes. If not, your server may be unable to write to its own files — in that case, you could change your file permissions, or your hosting company may need to fix it.

If it’s already 0 and you’re still seeing old versions of pages, there might be another type of cache such as “Varnish” at your hosting company, that you might be able to disable from the hosting company’s control panel.

    It did not work..
Searching again in the DB i’ve found a corrispondence of the terms deleted in the table Wp_OPTION_META / meta_key / page-option-item-xml.
I’ve deleted the texts there and now i don’t see no more the incriminated texts on line, but i’m afraid future update of that pages won’t work… I don’t know what i’ve done but i think i’ve created a misfunction in the system doing that because i’m not able to modify that pages anymore. At this point I think WordFence is not the cause of my problem, but if you have any advice it’ll be much appreciated
