Hi
Been using WCK for years and its a great plugin it helped alot on my website exactlly what we needed. We just decide to give our site a redesign
But I just noticed that on the custom post page where I edit the custom fields I cant seem to update the fields its been years since I haven’t updated the content but I always made sure that the plugins are always up to date

When I try to update the fields like for example the checkboxes it appears eveything is good but as soon as i view the front end of the post nothing has changed so I also tried updating the fields and tried refreshing the post page and the weird thing is all the checkboxes are again checked like nothing was updated.

Also tried disabling all plugins except for WCK but the issue persists

Would really appreciate your advice on whats causing the issue

Hi @andrelam1985,

Thank you for reporting this. I was also able to observe a similar issue on my WP Instance (with an older custom post), I am forwarding this to our development team, where they will get it fixed in one of our future updates to WCK.

If it helps I did a couple of trouble shooting I think this happens when checkbox is used I did change it to “Select” Dropdown and it seems its working fine

I just want to mention that it seems the issue I’ve observed was not exactly the same as the issue you encountered. So in case you need further help with this issue, then we would need your WCK settings to try to replicate that issue (as stated above those WCK settings can be sent to the following email address:?[email protected]).

Hi @andrelam1985,

I’ve tested this on my WP Instance while using your WCK settings and I was able to successfully update the custom fields (that I’ve changed back to the “checkbox” type) for a newly created Custom post. For testing purposes, could you briefly change the field type of 2-3 fields back to “checkbox”, after which create a new post and check if you still encounter this issue?
