Unable to update the plugin (free version)

What edition of AcyMailing is shown at the top-right of any AcyMailing page?
If it is something other than “AcyMailing Starter” and the license is expired, you will indeed not be able to update since it would remove the features you paid for by replacing the current version with the starter version.

If you want to replace the current version with the free one, you can download the latest version from www.ads-software.com then go under the Plugins => Add New Plugin menu in your website and click the “Upload Plugin” button to install the latest version.

I never had the pro version on this website.

I didn’t change anything.

I have the same problem: I haven’t been able to update for several months in the usual way, even though the version is ‘Acymailing Starter’ and no pro version has been installed.
I need to download the extension and add it via the ‘Upload Plugin’ button.

Sorry we didn’t clearly understood the issue in the first place.

We found a fix for this issue, it will be release in the next version.

So after version 9.4.0 you shouldn’t have any issue updating from the WordPress plugin listing.
