Unable to update WC-Vendors plugin

Good day,

I saw on my list of plugins that WC-Vendors (my installed version is 2.0.4) has an update available. Saying “WC Vendors Update Required. – We need to upgrade your configuration to the latest version”, and I clicked on the link to “Run Update” See image here
It then redirects me to another page which says that its running in the background – image here however it never updates?! I even clicked the link to force the update, and still it does not update the plugin.

Please advise
1. What updates are contained in this plugin.
2. How I can successfully run the update for this plugin without messing with my existing plugins (WC Vendors, WooCommerce Frontend Manager, WooCommerce Multivendor Membership, etc).
