• Hi,

I am new with WordPress; I have configured my VPS and installed MySQL + Php Admin + WordPress on it.
    I have two problems:

    1) I cannot update WordPress to 6.0.1 and I receive this error:

    Update WordPress
    Downloading update from https://downloads.www.ads-software.com/release/wordpress-6.0.1-partial-0.zip…

The authenticity of wordpress-6.0.1-partial-0.zip could not be verified as no signature was found.

    Unpacking the update…

The update cannot be installed because some files could not be copied. This is usually due to inconsistent file permissions.: wp-admin/includes/update-core.php

    Installation failed.

    or give me this error:

    3) I have tried to create debug.log through this introduction
    https://www.ads-software.com/support/article/debugging-in-wordpress/#example-wp-config-php-for-debugging
    but it does not work!

Do you have any idea what is problem and what should I do?`

    Regards.

  • You said that you are new to WordPress, so it’s a better idea to manually troubleshoot this error.

Follow the steps to troubleshoot the error.

    1. Uninstall all the plugins you’ve installed.

    2. Switch back to your default theme.

    3. Go to your hosting control panel.?

    4. Uninstall WordPress and reinstall a fresh WordPress

I hope this will help you to go forward, and now you can also install the woocommerce plugin.

If it still didn’t work, don’t hesitate to reach back.

    Hi Hustler07
thanks for your message, but I already tried it, and it didn’t work in my case, it was a file permission problem and it was solved. ??
