• Since yesterday, all images in the Media Library are not loading. They show an outline with a small cross box. The same is happening on the website. I am unable to upload any new images either. The site is moneyview.in/blog.

Tried disabling all plugins and one-by-one as well. Nothing has worked. Please help.

  • Hey rachparm,

Here is a link to one of you images: src="https://moneyview.in/blog/wp-content/uploads/2016/03/Blog-02.png" can you verify the file exists in the folder structure via cPanel or ftp?

Has anything changed with your hosting recently? Permissions or .htaccess rules possibly?

Hope this helps you get this resoolvled.

    Hi Aj,

Yes, checked. Permissions are all fine. The issue was mostly with Featured images and some of the main images too. The files they are pointing to exist in the Media gallery but are not showing any images just an outline with the cross box. The weird part is that if I try to upload new images, the Media Gallery is not letting me to.

Could it be something to do with the 4.4.2 version of WP? Or any known issues with any image plugin? Shall I reinstall WordPress? Will that solve the issue?

    Regards,
    Rachna

    Hi Rachna,

Reinstalling sounds a bit drastic. I would turn on logging and check the error logs. https://codex.www.ads-software.com/Debugging_in_WordPress See if you are getting any errors ether when adding new images or when viewing the pages with missing images.

Could be a plugin issue so I you have any plugins that could be involved you could try disabling them. It could also potentially be a theme issue so you could try switching to a base WordPress theme like Twenty Sixteen.
