• Hi

    Yes i know this has been posted a dozen of times before. I have read a lot and tried a lot but i can’t get it to work.

    I have just installed the latest WP version. No plugins. Only made a few pure text postings, which worked, and then i would try to add a picture.

    Error message i get (in both upload methods):

    Den uploadede fil kunne ikke flyttes til /hsphere/local/home/larsras0/larsr.dk/wpaacr/wp-content/uploads/2010/01.

    Directly translated from Danish: “The uploaded file could not be moved to”

    I’m using the standard location. I have checked the database/options/uploadpath field which holds the complete path as above, and the user accessible setting contains: wp-content/uploads

    I have checked and set the fileattributes to 755 to the uploads folder.

    WP created the 2010 folder by it’self during the first upload. The 01 folder was not created. I have tried to create this manuaaly as a test, but still the upload fails with the same error.

    It is kind of driving mad this thing ??

  • Hi,

    Check with these options:

    -> Assign 755 recursive permissions to wp-content folder
    -> Disable all the plugins
    -> Upgrade your wordrpess version to the latest available
    -> Check upload path from wordpress admin area.

    Thanks,

    Shane G.

    Hi

    I forgot to mention that the filepermissions actually was made recursively, so i beleive i already did what you suggested.
