Unable to upload theme

Can you specify what is happening or give us more details?

Do you have the correct permissions to the folder you are uploading? Or do you have the correct size for files uploading in your php.ini?

I am trying to upload themes( tried many times) dashboard> apperance>themes> new theme>choose a file (zip folder)> install now>….. after this … error comes (https://xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx.in/wp-admin/update.php?action=upload-theme)
this site can’t be reached > refresh> are you sure you want to do this?

How big is the theme?

And BTW you can’t request request anybody to resolve a problem for you. It is not the way how it works.

42 MB,20MB etc…., I am sorry, I thought it’s a support system.

Usually, you can’t upload anything bigger than 8MB using WordPress. The only way to handle themes that big is to use FTP and upload files to proper place (wp-content/themes/theme_name). Then when you go to the backend and then themes, it will be there so you can preview and activate it.
The message you’re getting is utterly useless to pinpoint the issue, but it happened to me recently, so I figured it out after some Googling. ??
