unable to upload .zip theme

  • I continue to have trouble uploading a theme that I purchased.

    I have followed every instruction, and this is the message that I receive when I attempt to upload the file:
    Unpacking the package…

    Installing the theme…

    Destination folder already exists. /home3/wisejour/public_html/wp-content/themes/wp-diary-pro/

    Theme installation failed.

    I am at a loss and extremely frustrated. ??

  • This means a folder with the theme name already exists in your File Manager.

    If you have either FTP or control panel access you should go to the themes folder and delete the “wp-diary-pro” folder and try again.
