My builder editor is not working currently, so I am trying to edit pages using the default html editor, but that’s not working either. When I click the button for “use default editor” nothing happens and I cannot access the html on my page. Do you have any recommendations?

  • Hi,

    I have a similar issue!

I am having problems with the backend functionality of my website https://www.yourspeakingcareer.com – many buttons aren’t working – for example, I can’t click ‘Text’ in a new post – it’s stuck on ‘Visual’. Nothing happens when I click ‘Add Media’ either. Is this the same for you eeklund?

I am running Narcos on WordPress 4.8.2. The website was built last year using TeslaFramework and WPBakery.

Is this a known issue/does anyone have any recommendations on how to proceed? I have tried switching themes/ de-activating plugins and it hasn’t made any difference.

    Thank you,

    Stef

@eeklund: I recommend asking at https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/fusion/ so the plugin’s developers and support community can help you with this.

@stefcs: As you use a commercial theme/plugin and need support, please use their official support channel. We feel they are best equipped to support their products.

Commercial products are not supported in these forums. You are their customer; I am sure they will have no problem supporting you there.

Hi @sterndata – I’ve worked through the problem with WPBakery and they are adamant it’s not their plugin breaking things – I have the same issues when WPBakery is deactivated. My web developer says it isn’t a theme issue as the problem persists when I swap to using Twenty Fifteen. Any thoughts? Thanks so much,

    Stef

In the future, @stefcs, please do not hijack other users’ topics. Your problem is NOT THE SAME as the OP’s.

This may be a plugin or theme conflict. Please attempt to disable all plugins, and use one of the default (Twenty*) themes. If the problem goes away, enable them one by one to identify the source of your troubles.

I contacted ThemeFusion Support and resolved my issue. I can now edit pages.

Great! Apologies for ‘hijacking the thread’. Genuinely thought it was part of the same problem and therefore may have a shared solution. Glad your problem is sorted. I had to revert to a previous version of WordPress.
