Unable to work If disable wp-cron

    I disable wp-cron and using VPS cron. All other plugin is working with no issue. This is the only plugin that has an issue and can not work without wp-cron. Some of us use external cron. That issue needs to be fixed. Also, the issue with a restore with AWS lightsail bitnami stack. Same issue with Google VPS bitnami stack. I think most of these positive reviews are from people who have not had to restore or test to see if this backup plugin is really working. One see the plugin is backing up and think all is good until they try to restore.

    1. WPvivid supports using a system cron.

    Actually we have many users using their system crons, without any issues. So please make sure you have correctly set up your VPS cron.

    Please follow this guide to hook wp-cron into your system cron.

    2. From the feedback we have gathered so far, a restore failure is always related to limitations with the web host.
