• Hello,

I have just been informed on my email by WordPress that I have a new site that I haven’t bought or authorised. I have a site, https://www.bestdealsforcameras.com and have been told that my new site https://bestdealsforcameras.bestonlinepaydayloan.in/ is ready and gives me login info etc

My original site seems to be ok and there is no evidence of my new site on my hosting account. The new site does exist – there is a holding page. I am guessing I must have been hacked somewhere, but is this a wordpress problem, do you think, or a hosting problem?

  • Sounds more like a hosting issue. Have you contacted your hosts about this?

Yes, they assure me that it doesn’t exist on my account. on one hand all the info they would need is out there, on the other I fail to understand how opening an account which sends the login and password info to my email would benefit them. I was really wondering if anyone had experienced this before…..

You haven’t been hacked — someone at the site bestonlinepaydayloan.in created a new subsite on their network and mistakenly entered your email address.

Or intentionally – in some bizarre Spam attempt…

That bestonlinepaydayloan.in site has been brought down due to an overlaod of resources – which makes me wonder if they aren’t intentionally spamming all over, or have been hammered by spam.
