• Hi.

I have enabled all permissions to the Author role to manage posts.
My question arises when after creating a post and the author later decides to delete it. That’s when pressing delete the post, a box appears on screen that reports the following message “Unauthorized Action“. However, to return to panel view all posts, it is found that the action executed successfully and selected post has been moved to the trash.

    Why is this message?
How I can do that does not appear to not mislead the Author?

    Thank you.

  • Hi ozonia,
What version of AAM are you using?

    Hi Vasyl

    Thank your for your answer.

I have a version installed V.1.7.1 powered by WordPress 3.5.1.

    Regards.

I am having the exact same issue… permissions are set to allow a group to delete, but they get unautorized action screen, then if I try a second time, I get error moving to trash screen. The post does get moved to the trash after the second try but this seems like a bug of some sort to me.

    Thanks

    Chris

I, too, am having the same issue. Was there any resolution to this? I noticed that they are able to delete Pages without any problems, but when they delete a post they are redirected to an “unauthorized” page although the action is deemed successful.

So strange; after a lot messing about in AAM, I was able to delete posts without being redirected to the “unauthorized” page by giving the affected party access to the woocommerce coupons page on the main menu options page.
