Unauthorized Links

  • I’m having a problem with people posting unauthorized links on my WordPress website. The bigggest culprits are from a site called “Infoatoms”, “Dell” and other people who are in the same industry as myself. How do I stop this from happening?

  • Where are the posting the links? Is this in comments or in your actual posts?

    If it’s in comments, you’ll need to do some filtering before the commetns go live. There’s settings for this in the admin area under ‘Settings -> Discussion’.

    If it’s in the actual post/page content that you’ve entered, then it’s most likely a rouge toolbar/extension that’s been installed into your browser. A quick search for ‘infoatoms’ does point to that being the problem. If that’s the case you’ll need to remove that extension form your browser.
