Unbelievable CDN Plugin

  • I have a very heavy site that was at best getting B’s. Just the basic setup between Statically and Autoptimize I’m pegging 97 and 92. I’d hit a hunered if I didn’t have to let a plugin run wild.

    This might be quick for a small site and does get good scores on the front page but very slow on the users side upwards of a full minute plus.

    If you have a lot of inner pages you will also have a lot of broken images.

    I haven’t had a response from Statically for the “Get a custom domain” but apparently it’s $25 dollars a month. Cloudfare at $20 a month impales what this claims to do. Typical bait and switch from a lot of plugins on WP.

    what errors appear from the CDN?

    aren’t all CDNs slow at first because they have to download content from the origin first? I quoted “a full minute plus” at what test time did you decide this?

    I have experienced related issues (not the same, never got broken images) but I contacted them to put Shielding for my server so that downloads are faster and cache better, mine is a large site, and this is a free service.

    also you should consider this, does CF offer automatic image resize and file optimization with $25? no, it’s $200.

    what I mean is, try to contact them first before deciding to give a rating like this. I believe they are good at giving you free CDN on premium networks.
