    Yes, in the settings of Frontier post, you can enter a list of categories to be excluded from the list.

    To find the ID of the category you can find the category record and in the address line of the browser you will find: &tag_ID=1 for Uncategorized

    So enter 1 in the field in Frontier settings

    I remove uncategorized from the sidebar;

    Here is how?

    Go to Appearance then click on Widget,
    Once widget opened, Click on Primary Widget area,
    You will see “Category”
    Just click on,Hold your left mouse button and move to
    “Inactive widget ” Group.
    When you go back your website, You will not see Uncategorized anymore. :-))
