We have a problem with the URL structure of the product. When we visit the page then the URL is reidect in correct form and display properly but when we check the source code and mouse hover the product then we see most of the product has ‘Uncategorized’ in the URL which is wrong.

we have default category called ‘produkte but still the Uncategorized is displaying in the URl.

so we are really confused about this issues, some product display properly some product display wront URL pattern but when you click any product then everyhing loaded because it’s redirect.

Hi @takevalue ,

Are all these products within the same category? Otherwise, I’ll recommend double-checking the ones that are displaying the “Uncategorized” category as they might be uncategorized when you checked.

Dear Mark,
Thanks a lot for the feedback. I checked all the products and no products were actually assigned multiple categories. Each product assigns to only one category. And I don’t have any category called ‘Uncategorized’ because I deleted it and made’ Produkt’ as a default category.

if you check this image: https://snipboard.io/bBImeG.jpg you will see that this product is only assigned in one category and the permalink is showing perfectly in the backend. But in the front-end the permalink is not showing properly, that’s the problem.

Hello Ashiq,

Thank you very much for the clarification and for the additional details that you provided.

I went ahead and checked the category page further and was able to see that some of the products on this page are under the uncategorized while hovering over them. However, upon clicking on them, it redirects and displays the correct URL.

Could you please try to proceed in clearing any cache and WooCommerce transients(WooCommerce >> Status >> Tools >> Clear Transients) and see if that would help with this URL issue?

It looks like the issue is solved.

At first, I removed all Transients but the problem was still there then I found an update available for the WPML plugin I update that and again resave the ‘WooCommerce Permalink Settings’ and checked the page and all are fine now.
