Uncaught error groups_is_user_member()

  • Hello,
    This is a fresh install and we just went live. However, the following error is recorded into the logs. Any idea?

    Thank you for reaching us.

    It seems you disabled the buddypress group component.
    Please enable the group component and then check. It should resolve the issue.

    I don’t want to be rude but your answer after 1 week of communication through Facebook and other Medium starts to be really boring. Read again the whole conversation and come back to me please with a suitable fix.
    We don’t need groups and don’t want to enable them !

    Hi @designboxcom,

    To fix this issue, Please add “bp active = groups” check at line number 698 to the bp-learndash-functions.php file located at /plugins/buddypress-learndash/includes/ folder.

    Thank you very much. I will keep you updated if it fixed the error.
    Beside this, will I need to make this modification after every new update or will you integrate it in the next release of the plugin ?

    Looking forward to this ability to turn off groups. I’m using forum and buddypress messages, so don’t need groups.
