    Hi,

I installed SuperPWA on all of my websites last week and it has been working very well. Since a recent update however, when I click on markers on our Park Locator (https://www.newstaticsforsale.co.uk/park-locator/) there are multiple errors in the console and the map doesn’t update properly. This applies to some other pages too.

Are you familiar with this error? I cleared the old v1.3 cache, leaving just the v1.3.1 cache there but the problem persists. I’m struggling to think of a solution at the moment.

    Kind Regards,

    Anthony

    Hey Anthony,

    Hope you are well.

Since SuperPWA was removed or deactivated I was not able to test it out.

Can you please try version 1.4 that was released today? I have added some improvements for handling external resources.

Please let me know the result.

    Best regards.

    Hi Arun,

Thanks for getting back to me. I had to disable the app because our website was no longer working with it installed.

I think the issue is with Chrome’s local datastore exceeding the maximum size. Is there any way around that? Does the new version use less storage, or use the storage more efficiently?

    Many thanks,

    Anthony

    Hey Anthony,

This is an entirely new domain for me to be honest. Based on what I have read online the browser handles the cache allocation and eviction by itself, and different browsers handle the eviction differently.

In this version external resources are excluded from the cache, so that might mean that assets related to the maps are not taking up all the available.

I will explore this area. In the mean time if you could give me some feedback on what happens at your end, that would be super helpful.

I understand it is hard to do it on a production environment. Regardless, I will revert to you as I make progress.

Thanks for working with me on this.
