Hello, Since updating to the most recent version of the plugin, we are getting Javascript errors that seem to indicate a conflict with Elementor. The error is “Uncaught TypeError: elementorModules.frontend is undefined” and it prevents the front end of our Elementor pages from fully displaying correctly. If I disable the plugin, then the error goes away and the non-MasterStudy parts of the pages display correctly.

The error persists even if I switch to the default WP theme.

I can’t share the development site url as it’s behind our company firewall, unfortunately.

Any help you can provide would be great, thanks.

Update: the error only occurs when I’m logged in to the WordPress site. If I’m logged out and viewing as a regular visitor, the conflict doesn’t occur.

Additional update: when I roll back to version 2.9.39, the conflict goes away. It appears in versions 3.0.0 and later. I believe that something was introduced in 3.0.0 that causes a conflict with Elementor and Elementor Pro when the user is logged in as an admin. Again, this happens on the default WP theme with all other plugins disabled. Thanks.

I am having the same problem.

Even though I disabled Elementor Header & Footer Builder plugin, same error persists.

    Hello @crawfocl,

Are you using Elmentor Free or Elementor Pro plugin also installed on your website?

Can you provide more details about your system environment as well including the PHP version?

Does the Plugins and WordPress updated to the latest version?

    Regards

Thank you. We are using Elementor and Elementor Pro, as well as Elementor Header & Footer Builder. The PHP version is 8.0.28. WordPress core is up to date, as well as all plugins and the theme.

    Hello,

Our developers are testing the issue and nesseary fix should be available in one of the upcoming plugin updates.

    Regards
