    Try “Disable comments count script” option.

    That was a quick reply :), thanks.

    That did the trick and removed the console error. What (if anything) functionality wise will I lose by doing that?

    Disabling that script will increase your page speed. But if your theme shows comments count above the post, it will not work. If your theme doesn’t do that.. no issues

    For enabling internal discovery you don’t have to do anything on our plugin. Those settings are there in your Disqus.com dashboard. (Disqus website account settings page). You can enable or disable it there. Let me know if you need more clarification

    Ah I see, my theme does display a comment count and I was hoping to retain that functionality.

    Any idea on how to solve that console error while not turning the comments count script?

    That we have to check. That error is not there for me. Will check. If it is a bug I will fix that in next update.!!

    I think that small error will not affect your website anyway ( Atleast until next update)!!
