Uncheck remove exif data not work

    seems like the setting page to enable exif data especially GPS data is not work.

    How can i say so… ?

    i adding the exif data and the data in jpeg exif when i read the data show as below :

    after uploading to the WP and this plugin convert it the properties become this :

    jpeg:sampling-factor: 1×1,1×1,1×1

    analyze using imagemagick
    identity -verbose image.jpeg

    Could you please contact us directly here with an example of file where you notice this behavior so we can check?

    Also, could you please repeat the test with ShortPixel deactivated and see if the EXIF data is kept or not?

    An update after testing the image you sent me:

    I’ve tried to replicate the issue noted by you on a sandbox WordPress system:
    https://poopy.life/
    1) I created a test WP environment
    2) tested the file you sent me here https://metapicz.com/#exif-box – it included EXIF data
    3) uploaded the image on the WP environment
    4) downloaded the images from WP
    5) tested them here https://metapicz.com/#exif-box again
    The image files didn’t contain that EXIF data anymore.??????????? Not even the original image.
    Please note that I did this test without having ShortPixel Image Optimization plugin active.
    ?
    To me it looks like there is a WordPress related issue as the EXIF data isn’t available before ShortPixel does anything.

    Thank you for your support, even it wont solve this problem since this is not plugin mistake.
