Can you see the issue in our demo? https://demo.siteorigin.com/corp/standard-blog-layout/. I took a look now and the span and a tag openings and closings appear correct: https://imgur.com/a/IYIdGxe.

If you look at the ‘Elements’-Tab all looks fine because the Browserengine ‘repairs’ it. If you look at the HTML-Source you will see it.
