The plugin works very nice! It’s automatically translated so all options are in Dutch.

But I do have an issue.
I use the Uncode theme and this theme has this extra tab option called Content Blocks. These are blocks that you can add to several pagina’s, so it can be re-used. pretty handy. The tab is located between portfolio and galleries.

I would like the role “editor” to edit the content blocks also, as these blocks have a lot of the pages content in them. I did spot the blocks in the list (Herbruikbare Blokken) and gave the Editor all rights to them, but for some reason the editor can’t edit them or see the tab.
When I select the “beheer opties” in general settings. the tab is displayed but the blocks are not.

perhaps you can tell me what I’m doing wrong, I can provide login credentials if needed.

    Kind regards,
    Emile Jansen

    Hi @foodstijl

We are not allowed to get credentials here. Sorry about that.

Members plugin doesn’t have a section for each plugin. Plugin authors can add admin areas using any capability they want, including custom capabilities. If you know which capabilities are required to access that plugin’s admin area, you can assign those capabilities to a user/role. If you know capabilities and that doesn’t work, can you ask the theme author if the capabilities you have added allow editing content as you want?

You may trust this developer/author, but it normalizes a dangerous practice. It’s a fine line, but one that we need to enforce. Thanks for your cooperation.
