PageSpeed SEO has been lowered by uncrawlable links. Seems. to be that for each gallery that leads a Lightbox all of the images are loaded as hidden items and Google can’t crawl these. Any way to improve this behaviour?

can we please see this PageSpeed report please? I was unaware that PageSpeed reports un-crawlable links…

I will talk this over w/ our dev team, I know what’s going on …

I’ll cirxle back w/ an answer tomorrow, once I have a proper conclusion as to how we could address this without causing any breaking changes.

@ewanmathers – it looks like we’ve found the issue – we’ve made a mistake w/ using <a> links in there as we are already handling the click event via JavaScript.

The mark-up should have never been an <a href> type of link, but rather a <button> element that opens a dialog (lightbox).

In the next Modula Lite update we will address this issue and the error will be gone from PageSpeed Insights.

P.S: Perfmatters has created a conflict with Modula, from what I can tell, and lightbox(es) aren’t working on your Gallery pages.
