Undefined Cart Errors

    SSL is in. PHP is updated. But when we try to place an order, we get two errors. One says the site is not secure. Force SSL is checked. The other error simply says we encountered an error when trying to check out.

    Hello,

    Could you try temporarily disabling the theme and other plugins and testing again. More information on this here: https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/how-to-debug-issues-after-updates?replies=1

    That will help narrow things down if the issue is coming from another plugin / the theme.

    Can you double check the credentials used for “WooCommerce Simplify Commerce Gateway”, and test another gateway such as BACS. Does the same error occur then?

    No I can’t. It’s the X theme and must work with woocommerce. There are very few plugins installed. This is a minimal setup. I just added the Simplify setup but then you guys changed it to a plugin and I’m not sure that is set up within the plugin or within woocommerce.

    I don’t have the ability to add my client’s bank account to test BAC. This has to work with Simplify and Paypal options only. I can make you an admin login if you want to email me [email address moderated – these forums do not provide support via email]

    No I can’t. It’s the X theme and must work with woocommerce. There are very few plugins installed.

    If you can’t check to make sure there isn’t a conflict happening in the theme or another plugin, then there isn’t much I can do to help.

    The Simplify plugin is the exact same code that was in WooCommerce core.

    I deactivated X theme temporarily and put simplfiy in test mode w a test card. When I hit pay, nothing happens

    I see the same generic error as you. But I think it’s your API key.

    The second is your Live API key. You’ll see a prefix of “sbpb_” for the Sandbox key and “lvpb_” for your live key. You can also toggle the drop down menu to create your Sandbox or Live key.

    Can you check that?

    And do the test translation with BACS as suggested to ensure regular checkout works when simplify is not involved.

    We went with Shopify. It may well have been the API key but it’s past the point of fixing it now.
