Undefined Function Error

This message appears on the Gravity Forms form edit screen
Fatal error: Call to undefined function imagecreatetruecolor() in
/home/jlopez/public_html/wp-content/plugins/really-simple-captcha/really-simple-captcha.php
on line 111The error also prevents editing the form.
I removed the error from the contact page by deactivating really simple
captcha and then editing the contact form. I can edit the contact form but
can not add a captcha field.The message is on this page…

I deactivated all plugins except Gravity Forms and Really Simple Captcha…
the error persisted.I changed theme… the error persisted.
