Using uick Page/Post Redirect Plugin 5.1.8, here’s a sample link (one of many) that throws the errors:
    https://bocacommunity.org/test

    Errors:
Notice: Undefined index: host in /home/boca/www/www/wp-includes/canonical.php on line 444
    (repeated for lines 445, 445, 446, 448)

The errors do not occur when using the www before the URL or the trailing slash at the end. Also, after successfully browsing to the URL with www, I can no longer repeat the error on bocacommunity.org/test for that particular browser. I can repeat it on a different browser.

    Help please! Thx.

  • These are Notices not errors.
Try checking the box in the setting for the ‘Quick Fix’ – it turns off notices on the site so they do not cause messages to display and should fix the problem for you.

Side note – you should always try to log any errors/notices/warnings as displaying them in the browser can give hackers more information about your server and your specific setup.

    Warm regards,

Thank you, Don. I couldn’t find a ‘Quick Fix’ checkbox anywhere in the settings for the plugin or in the general WP settings, but I saw that WP-DEBUG was still set to true in wp-config (left over from dev). I set it to false and everything is great now.

Thanks for the security tip too!
