• Hi,

after updating oceanwp (to 2.0.9) and oceanextra (to 1.7.6) I encounter following line being presented on the menu of our staging website (not accessible from public internet):

Notice: Undefined index: icon-basket in /var/www/raetseldetektive/html/wp-content/themes/oceanwp/inc/oceanwp-svg.php on line 100

I already flushed all caches, switched icons back to font-awesome in customizer and disabled and re-enabled all scripts without success.

Before updating this problem did not occur.

Could you please check if there is a bug in latest theme and/or plugin?

    Thanks in advance,
    Andreas

By the way, direct after updating search icon in menu was about 5 times bigger than usual and the bottom facing arrow indicating submenu entries was also extremly huge. This was solved by switching back to font-awesome icons.
In my point of view theme/plugin update should not switch automatically from fontawesome to your own icon set…

    Hello,

Please navigate to Customize > General Options > Theme Icons and select Font Awesome, then publish changes.
After that, go to Theme Panel > Scripts and Styles, hit the save button a couple of times, and try using the new icon style (if you want to).

Now go to Appearance > Customize > Woocommerce > Menu cart, and select the cart icon again, clear the cache, and check.

Let me know if this worked out for you

    Hi,

thanks for the answer. After performing all those steps and clearing caches the problem is solved. But performing all those steps later on production environment will be quite nasty for all theme/plugin users.

Is there any special reason why you are overwriting existing configuration on update? Using the new icon sets on new installations sounds fine, but not on upgrade.

    Hello,

I apologize for your trouble, and there is no special reason for it.
But we have added the new SVG icons and removed the unused icons, because of that a few icons need to be reselected.

The following post will help you with more details regarding the SVG icon.
