    Hi,

Thanks for a great plugin. We’re seeing the following notice is on the Wordfence Live Traffic, Blocked IPs and Options settings pages:

“Notice: Undefined index: coreUnknown in /srv/bindings/0190ecb8ad1742a495dd7ed7936f1ea3/code/wp-content/plugins/wordfence/lib/wordfenceHash.php on line 141”

We are also noticing frequent writes to “wp-content/plugins/wordfence/tmp/configCache.php”.

We are hosted on Pantheon and file updates to the code path (including themes plugins) is only permitted on the dev server and not on live — so I’m concerned that Wordfence might break in production if the plugin operates using updates to files in the code path.

Are these valid items of concern?

    Thanks!

  • Hi heretiq,
We already know about this Notice: Undefined index message and it will be addressed in next update, I want to confirm also that this message will not affect the scan function by any way,

To avoid writing to (tmp/configCache.php) file you can check “Disable config caching” under (Wordfence > Diagnostics => Debugging Options).

    Thanks.
